Here we grow again! Archway Safety & Language has a new home. We are no longer on Wade Hampton Blvd. Now we are off Wade Hampton. This month we moved into Suite 307B at 1 Chick Springs Road in Greenville, South Carolina.
We offer first aid, CPR, OSHA, safety, and interpreter training. Although our offerings are available virtually, certain classes work better in person. The new location has enough space for approximately 25 participants. Your company, employees, contractors, and subcontractors can attend these classes here in Greenville in Spanish or English.
This week, Jeff is taking the OSHA 503 General Industry refresher course for authorized outreach trainers. This afternoon, he called me with excitement in his voice. OSHA has approved premium conference interpreting solutions for OSHA training. In the past, if a 30-hour OSHA class required interpretation, the class time had to be 60 hours. I’m sure no one wants to spend an extra 30 hours in an OSHA class. What does this mean?
Let’s say you have a crew of 20 people who need to attend an OSHA 10 class. Sixteen people speak English; four speak Ukrainian. You are unable to locate a Ukrainian-speaking authorized trainer. You don’t want to lose your contract. No worries! We can locate a Ukrainian interpreting team for the two-day training. Presentation materials and tests can be translated. A mobile tabletop booth with an interpreter console will transmit the instruction via receivers to the four limited English proficient speakers. The instruction takes only ten hours. Everyone can take the test in the language they best understand. All who pass receive an OSHA card. You can now begin the work.
We look forward to serving you at our new office, at your location, or in hybrid settings.
